On May 24th, 2007, the Clinton County Historical Society once again hosted Keystone Central Middle School Student's Living History Day.  Over 140 students participated through their exhibits on the Civil War and giving tours elementary school students, and the public.  Even day care, -scholars [pictured below], enjoyed the day.  Our congratulations go out to all who participated. This year’s Living History Day was a great success and many of the adults who attended felt 2007 it was the best ever!!    The exhibits were judged by Bruce Teeple, Janet Ramm and Bonnie Hannis.  Our thanks go out to the judges!  The basic criteria for judging was originality, quality of research and information, attractiveness and group discussion with the judges. The following groups won the awards: 

1st Place- What Quill You Learn?  by Brennan Register and Courtney Mayes, 8th Grade, pictures below.

2nd Place- Fashions of the Fight by Lauren Gummo, Brittany Major, Chelsea Hanley and Katy Rearick, 8th Grade, pictures below.

There was a tie for 3rd Place-Civil War Diseases by Beccca Eaton and Kaylyn Walker. 7th Grade and

Drummer Boys by Tanner Blazina, Micah Powers and Nathan Shervinski

Honorable Mention:  Civil War Animals by Hanna Smith Williams and Katie Wright, 8th Grade
