Together We Can Touch Tomorrow’s History
Clinton County Historical Society's
Planned Giving Programs

The Clinton County Historical Society is entering a new era. Our Society needs to generate additional
financial resources to aid our continued growth and expansion.
Your support is critical for our mission to continue!

An Overview of CCHS…

Founded in 1921 the Clinton County Historical Society's Mission of Historical Preservation and Education, has remained resolute. In 1962 the Heisey Museum building was deeded to us from Cora Frey Heisey in keeping with the wishes of her husband, Samuel.  We presently own four properties: The Heisey Museum, Barton Street School, Castanea Railroad Station and Farrandsville Furnace.  The Heisey House and Farrandsville Furnace are on the National Register of Historic Places.

Our Mission…

The Clinton County Historical Society is organized to maintain a museum for collecting, preserving and interpreting records and artifacts significant to the history of Clinton County. CCHS encourages research into local history, recommends the preservation of historical structures and sites, presents educational programs in local schools, offers free seminars and lectures to the public and cooperates with other organizations interested in historical preservation.

But, To Continue Our Mission We Need Your Help!

Over the years the Society worked tirelessly within the Clinton County Community proudly following the Heisey’s dream of preserving this County's rich History.  Following, we present to you our hopes, dreams, and needs for our Society, so our rich history may live on forever in the hearts and minds of this and all future generations of Clinton County.
